Low Vision Rehabilitative Services

Southern Eye now offers a Vision Rehabilitative Service for those who suffer from vision impairment that can not be corrected by medical or surgical interventions.  This Service will help each patient cope with their vision loss and maximize their visual function in everyday life.  You will learn how to use your remaining vision with and without assistive devices, i.e.  Handheld and Video Magnifiers, Telescopes, CCTV, colored filters, large print books, etc.  If surgery or regular eyeglasses can not correct your vision loss, our low vision services may help.  Please contact us at (864) 269-333 to schedule an appointment with Dr. Steigerwald.
